Disability liaison service

  • The Disability Liaison Service at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) can support people with disability, their families and carers to use hospital services and access the care and treatment they need.ÌýThe Disability Liaison Service should be contacted if patients are experiencing barriers to accessing healthcare, related to their disability.

    What we do

    • Support people with disability, their families and carers to access healthcare and services at the RCH
    • Work with your health care teams to understand your child's individual care needsÌý
    • Provide advice to your health care team to support safer, accessible and more inclusive care during your hospital stay and outpatient clinic appointments
